Short Oval Rockingham
With news that Rockingham are currently trying to fund the building of a new shorter oval on turn 4 for the likes of Hot Rods etc is this a good idea.?
Just yet more debt I would have thought. |

Its a good idea in theory...but one of the attractions of the short ovals is that you can get so close...being more or less up against the fences. With Rockingham you are going to be miles away from it!

There was an artical about this in motorsport news a couple of weeks ago. The design shown in there was more of a tri-oval rather than a conventional one.
