The comprehensive crash test of Swift Engineering’s new Swift 016.a Formula Atlantic race car, was successfully conducted earlier this week at a private session in Phoenix. The Swift 016.a meets all crash test requirements as set by Champ Car, the sanctioning body for the Atlantic series.

Going forward, Swift continues to build the 40 cars and will conduct an on-track test of the car in mid-February.

Delivery of the balance of the cars is set for early March, with a Champ Car-sanctioned open test to follow during the third week of March.

enemy-ace should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
With this new era of Atlantics I don't know which I am looking forward to more. Atlantics or Champ Car. Luckily nobodys forcing me to choose.
