So, what's your F1 Plan?

What you guys gonna do?

For me, it'l be the usual sit down infront of the telly, with a beer and some garlic bread, perhaps with a mate or two. Not forgetting ofcourse a tape in the VCR...

What about you?
Watching it with a load of mates, your other half or on your own?

Argh, how excited I am?!?

I'll tell ya; i'm demonstrably excited is what I am!

:takes relaxant:

Anyway, this weekend I shall mostly be watching F1 on the sofa, probably with a hot chocolate or cool drink (weather permitting, plus - we have no heating at the minute so probably the former) just getting quite happy about the fact, that after what, nearly 5 months away, F1 is back!

I don't have a favourite driver: but out of national pride, GO JENSON!! oh and GO AGURI!!

My girlfriend hates F1 so I spend Thurs & Fri working out how I can be home alone during the race.. and typically this weekend some idiot booked me work on Sunday so I'll have to time shift the lot.. but come Tuesday I'll have Qually & the race to watch in one long orgiastic feast of food drink and F1.. (and A1GP if it isn't cancelled)

Roll on Tuesday!

Depends what time the race is on in the UK, but if it's early morning I'm likely to be watching from a warm comfy bed with a coffee and a hangover... oh, and earplugs in case I can't find the remote (gotta get rid of James Allen's voice somehow!)

As usual, in bed, wake up just in time for race start..... That's the good thing about F1 over here, most races are at 7.30am - nothing better to watch on a Sunday morning! (unless you are a Corrie fan...) Though, I do miss the post Sunday Roast sit and snooze in front of the F1 race that I grew up with.

Now this year, I have a PVR set up, so the early races (like this weekend's - 6.30 am start) I can record, then watch whenever I want -- and it will even start from the beginning while the end of the race is still recording. This will also be useful once our racing season starts, and I am at Mosport for most races.....

You mean you don't feast on left over Pizza and garlic bread from the night before for breakfast? The only way to wake up!

UK coverage starts at 10.30am but since its the first race they probably won't be off until around noon so I'll probably roll out of bed and down the stairs, across the living room floor and lie in front of the TV for hours. Steve Rider's presenting it on ITV. Reminds me of the old BBC days.

I'm working on Saturday so I will miss that.

However, on Sunday, I will watch the race at my F1 club's premises, with Free beer and food. (Probably, I will eat my nails before that too )

Well, the run-up starts at 4am (it is usually 30 mins before the race starts, so that is a bit of an assumption). So I will get up for that, having put a tape in to record GP2 (assuming it is on Speed again this year) if it is running at Bahrain.

I will record the F1 race whilst I watch it in my boxers and housecoat.

After the race, I will watch the GP2 race.

Then I will go back to bed.

I'll be up and watching. However being awake at 6:00 on a weekend is a trial. If I dare to have coffee, there'll be no chance to get back to sleep. But I'll be there in boxers and robe.
