Redracer77 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Contact for Steve Mellish plus driver needed

I need to get a new rain light for my car please can somebody email me Steve Mellish's contact details so I can buy one from him.

looking for a driver -

Chris Walsh has been kind enough to give me the last hour of the test day at Oulton Park on Friday to help sort my major misfire on my F4. But unfortunately I have done my cartilage in my knee and I am not sure if I will be able to drive on Friday. If any one is interested in driving the car for an hour on Friday then please can you PM me or email me.

Cheers

Please don't. That would be totally outside the spirit of Steve's gesture of support to FF1600.

The clue - (I thought) - was in my last two words "ha ha" - hence, I was joking.

Chris has more than enough savvy to look after himself, he wouldn't need mine or anyone elses involvement in purchasing some L.E.D's.

Sheesh........

Whatever. The laughing smiley after my comment could possibly have meant that I already realised you were joking and was doing likewise.

Jeez, these professional issue finders....

Race numbers thread...

2) Letters attached to numbers is very confusing for timekeepers, spectators and anyone who is trying to read a letter AND a number on a moving car. Also it looks **** - this isn't grasstrack.

3) The way they have proposed to deal with people who want the same number is very fair. You have done barely half a season in NW and indeed with the BRSCC, and you want the pic of numbers? Not right surely?

4) Who gives a **** about numbers? Single digits are nice but if you don't get one, no worries. The mistake they have made is to give professional issue finders the choice of numbers; the reigning top three should have 1-3 and all others should be issued randomly on a first come first served basis. Racing is about racing, not moaning about stupid things. Does it harm your season? Does it make you slower? Does it some way impair your enjoyment? Nope

Rant Over

Ps - Peter Dempsey: 33 wins, 18 poles, 33 fastest laps. He had a **** number (21) but he spent more time thinking about his driving and about the setup of his car than cranks and numbers

Last time I looked at that thread, which incidentally is redundant now, I made it 5 people were in favour and only 2 were against, with 2 not going either way. A clear majority in my book.

I stand by what I queried in the thread and still challenge anyone to come up with a sound reason why 2 cars that DO NOT RACE together can't have the same number. As yet I have seen or heard nothing other than another drivers RANT.

I heard tell you're something good with IT JnrJnr. Maybe you could sort me out with one of these graphic smiley thingies.

Somebody casting a line and reeling it in would be just the job.
