ceanndubhain should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
No Longer a Virgin

I recently joined the BMMC and have undertaken my first 2 meetings as a Trainee Marshal at Brands Hatch 30 April and Rockingham 7th May.

I would like to thank everyone who made me feel welcome and took me under their wings especially Richard Workman, Graham and all the team on post 7 at Brands Hatch and Michael, Wendy and all the guys and gals at Rockingham on post 14 and Turn 4.

Although I did not know a great deal about anything marshal related, everyone gave me the benefit of their experience, some really great advice and also got me involved where possible. It's been a great experience so far and that is totally down to every Marshal who treated me like one of the team.

One final mention to Nick at AWS who went the extra mile in ensuring that my overalls were ready for me to use at my first race meeting. He turned everything around in 3 days.

THANK YOU to you ALL

Thank you Tom, for a very positive 'post'. I am so glad that you have been made welcome at both venues; see!!, we don't bite!!; and I trust that you will come back for more! No mention of Doughnuts or Pork Pies, however; they will come.
Seriously, also please our suppliers, AWS, came up trumps. Anyway, always a downside, you might end up on my Post one day! After the HSCC - Magnets at Dawn!!!

It was a pleasure, hope we have got you hooked, and my advice is go and try to marshall at different events and circuits..
You will find out what you enjoy and meet lots of good people,
I know at rockingham we were seriously under manned on all post..
But you did a good job and hope to see you again, well done

Good to see you at Rockingham Tom,
Were you at turn 4 for the end of the first pick-up race? All went a bit pair shaped. Hope they didn't get your nice clean probans dirty.
Thanks to Simon and Jaz in the pit lane. It was great fun, if a bit frantic at times, with bonnets flying over the pit wall!!
