Can anyone provide good medium for reviewing current "state of the art" damper/supension technology in F-1, SuperBike, etc.?
I am looking for photos of hardware, packaging, articles, technical detail etc. I am interested in comparing current suppliers hardware with my own technology. Thanks In Advance |

Are you in production?
Does your 'technology' include separate adjustment of bump and rebound? |

I am not in large volume production. Currently I am involved in several joint R&D programs within the OEM motorcycle, bicycle, and automotive industries.
Regarding damping adjustment - yes I have a number of variations available: Hydro-Pneumatic, Internal air assist springs, position sensitive capability, and I'm playing with hydraulically driven remote springs and motion ratio adjustment. I agree with the problems of gas pressurized dampers. The core feature of my technology is it is a fixed volume unit which eliminates pressurization entirely. The Sachs F-1 dampers have a similar external appearance to my hardware, but they still incorporating conventional De Carbon technology internally. This is my first post here. Thank you for your input and I welcome any other comments |

The Ohlins site is a very good source of technical information. There are downloads & drawings aplenty.
You could also look at Paul Haney's "Inside Motorsport" site as dampers are his speciality. The current issue of Circle Track has a small article on the new Carrera magneto-rheological damper. Last month's Racecar also featured this technology. |

Have a look at the forums on this site too, as there are a couple of people that post in there who do consultancy stuff for Penske etc. Chris |
