Is it this year "Super GT only" or will there be additional invitation classes (like f.e. in the 24h of spa )?

oops, one more interesting news is GT300 class leading team Direxiv hasn't taking part in this 'test for 1000km preparation',not sure will they race in Suzuka 1000km(or even remaining season),while everything is uncertain in thie co-operation

Hi Monkey.

You stated that the two Lambos, Ford GT, and Mosler, haven't attended the test for Pokka 1000, does this mean that they will definitely miss the race?

Last year there was a statistic site on the pokka-website mentioning the winners of all races
When i tried to look later at it, it had dissappeared unfortunately
does someone know a similar overview regarding the 1000km of suzuka?

With 35 issues it is the 2nd most traditional 1000km-race after the Nürburgring (37 times) and well in head of the 1000km of Bathurst (32times), the 1000k of Monza(22) and the 1000k of Spa (20 times)

What is the average entry of a super GT-round?
35 cars? or more 40?
will the 1000k suzuka attract more or less cars than the average? What do you think?
My feeling is that less than the average will take place due to the higher costs for that race...

Normaly we see 38-40 cars in Super GT.
But i thougt that those JLMC cars (proto's and GT's) would Join Super GT at those 1000KM's of Suzuka or am i wrong?
In the past years there also was a race of 1000km in Japan with those Super GT (JGTC) cars versus FIA GT cars (Chamberlain Viper GTS-R and Freisinger 996 RS etc)...

Certainly no LMP cars, maybe some GTs could switch, but there are a lot of alterations to make.

In the past, Suzuka was a stand alone race - now it is just another round of Super GT.

I wonder whether there will be a live-timing. It would be entertaining to watch this because the Grid in sufficient to make this a exciting race.
A shame that there is no Chance to see S-GT and pure FIA/ACO-cars competing in the same race. Such a benchmark would be interesting.

Yess but i think it's better to put Super GT500 cars in the same race as DTM cars cause Super GT500 cars are too fast for FIA GT1 cars i'm afraid.
