On past results you'd have to say there was nothing wrong with
P.Brock & Ji.Richards P.Brock & L.Perkins With both pairings taking three on the trott. Skaife/Lowndes Skaife/Ji.Richards Skaife/S.Richards Skaife/Seton Skaife/R.Kelly Murphy/R.Kelly R.Kelly/T.Kelly Skaife is without doubt, one of the best drivers to have ever raced at bathurst. |

Interesting to see 4 of the greatest Bathurst racers mentioned, Brock, Jum, Larry, and Moffat, all were racing in the GREAT RACE way back in the 70's All have partnered Brock at different times also!
With roughly over 25 odd wins between them,I would be happy to have any combination, from a choice of any of these 4 great legends of Australian Bathurst Enduros! Last edited by A9X05; 6 Aug 2006 at 11:33. |

What about Skaife/Ingall? That way there is absolutely no chance of them deliberately taking the other out
BTW Kerri is that B Heinrich or K Heinrich with C Lowndes??? |

Presumably the original question here was what would be the preferred combination if the HSVDT & HRT operations were allowed to merge their driver lineups
At the moment.. the lines up seem to be HSVDT - Tander/R.Kelly & Tratt/D'Alberto HRT - Skaife/T.Kelly & Ji.Richards/Briscoe To my mind, in that combination there are 2 hot cars, one medium, and rear gunner... If you wanted to tune it up a bit... and presuming the HRT pilots are considered no shot at the series title.. the new pairing may look like: HSVDT - R.Kelly/D'Alberto & Tratt/Briscoe HRT - Skaife/Tander & T.Kelly/Ji.Richards This will give the Walkinshaw Performance mob 3 cars with the speed to hit the top 10, and the 4th in the medium/rear position. The problem with all of this of course is that the drivers have to like the setups of the cars they are driving, and the ones involved in the swaps have been lead/strong drivers in their teams for some time... so playing second fiddle to others may not play well... even if that is likely the quickest & most consistent combination grouping of them all.. |

For 2006, I'm hoping to see:
Bright/Winterbottom In a general sense, I'd like to see: Bright/Lowndes Bright/Ambrose Bright/Murphy and a proven combination: Bright/S. Richards Cheers Steve |
