DodecaTurn
A fancy name, but it's just 12 turns.
It's approximately 2.5 miles in length (4km). It's set into a gentle hillside, the darker green background is the lower ground, with the lightest being the highest ground. I didn't deliberatly set out to do it, but when I looked at the circuit I realised that it would race in both directions, so the question is, Clockwise or Anti-clockwise. Let me know what you think the direction should be, and also as usual other comments, suggestions and edits too. |

Anitclockwise, because otherwise you've got the problem of the pit exit leading straight out onto the racing line for turn one. And they're aren't enough anticloskwise tracks in the world and I just prefer your track anticlockwise to clockwise.

There are more overtaking opportunities on the clockwise version. But the problem with the pitlane exit indeed needs to be solved in some way.
Apart from that, I miss multiple radius corners on this track. Maybe the upper right hand side of the track (penultimate corner on the clockwise) would be suitable for this? |

Does the pitlane has to be next to the start/finish straight?

It is convention that this be the case, makes life easier for Race control, timing and scoring etc. Also for the teams that have to get to the cars on the S/F grid
