Novice cross & sigs
How many sigs do I need before I can remove my novice cross, I've searched elsewhere on here and I've seen 6 mentioned, however, I've looked in the latest blue book I can lay my hands on at the mo, which is a year 2000 edition, and that says 10 sigs. (has it changed?)
Also, if I were to compete in 2 races at one meeting would I get 2 signatures? Cheers in advance |

Pretty sure that it was changed to 6 about 2/3 years ago.

Can you get a sig for marshalling?
A nice cheap one to get and you would learn a lot. |

Also ,depending on the car you drive, you can go Int-Historic for your license after 5 sigs, the car has to be pre 65 though.

I think that depends on the series regs Denis. I know several do and think it's a good idea. I am always willing to have drivers on post with me at BRands if anyone is interested for next year. I try and get them as involved as possible to see what it is really like. PM me anyone who is interested. |

But the marshalling sig must be in the same discipline.
I know, I tried for one in HillClimb! (I needed to upgrade to 'A' early in the year) John |

Thanks all,once again.
Yep the car is a '65 Marshalling is a good idea, I've done plenty in the past on just about everything from autotests to rallies, would be good to see a race meet from a marshals perspective. |
