"Teen Queen of the Indy Scene" - or: It's Started Already

This is the headline on an article in today's paper which is about Sarah Fisher. The first part of the article goes like this:

"Five foot two, eyes of blue, oh what that right foot can do ... "

Of course the picture with the article makes her look like my kid brother ... but what's with the bimbo language already? The article above this one discusses Montoya, and nowhere in it do they mention his age, his height or the colour of his eyes.

Sarah Fisher is a pilote and she is in the Indy 500 because she can drive a racing car. Here in the last year of the 20th century a woman should not have to put up with that kind of fluffy-bunny **** headlines, no matter how "cute" the writer thinks they sound.
