Robin Hood Forest Stages 2007

Hi to all, just wondered if anyone here will be attending this years event.
I have just spoken to the stage commander of this years event, i asked him why this years traditional night stage has been classed as a "none spectator" stage. He informed me that due to mindless N??heads smashing some of the forest property up, the commisionary has put a halt to any further night spectator stages on the event. Also that if the same happens on this years event then in his words the event "be in trouble !" Lets hope that anyone attending this years event is there to see the cars and not just out for a Jackass style laugh ! Shame really cause the sight and sound, so to speak !, of a fully committed rally car at night is one to behold. Anyway any comments would be nice.

Looking forward to this as well. Stumbled onto the event 4 or 5 years ago and have been going ever since.

Can't believe they've closed the night stages, that was one of the best bits. Mk 1 Escort at full chat, headlights blazing through the forest at night - what more could you ask for. The event website only refers to "problems last year with spectators", without saying specifically what those problems were. It's a shame the acts of a few idiots spoil it for everyone.

I attend circuit racing events pretty much every weekend but this was the first rally I have attended. I throughly enjoyed it and will definitely be going along to some more rallies!

I took my camera along and my photos can be seen at:- http://rsmp.zenfolio.com/p729544717/
