Helmet painting+ my general question.

Hi everyone.

Do you know where's the best painting shop for race Helmet in US?

and additional question for discuss
Why montoya can't win the Nextel cup race? maybe at all star challenge He made good qualify position and he caused accident on the first lap.
Is NASCAR hard to turn? Is there anyone who tried NASCAR?

F1 is really interest these days. what your opinion of Hamilton?
I never seen the driver like him.

I hope to battle with him oneday. Then I can make clear my decision if I continue the race or not.

How about Champcar? I can't watch the Champcar this year even on Speed Channel. why so many north american driver get out of this series....?
Most guys move to INDY and several to Rolex ??? sportscar?

and last. about Frank Perrera and Raphel Mato.
at the begining of this season I thought Frank lead the race, but Mato lead race instaed of him. I heard Mato complited F3000. please give me some information about this guy.

Thank you. Lets enjoy Dover race on this weekend.

also give me some tip how can I learn English faster.

10-10ths is split into many sub-forums. Have a look around and you'll find all these are already in discussion. If not start a thread there.

Plenty of Hamilton stuff there.
I'm not sure how suggesting F1 is of interest will go down though!

Very simple, drivers go were there are seats avaible or they get paid to drive / race.

Getting into a car is the frist thing. Starting out in ARCA OR Busch is realtivly easy if you have the money. If you are an unknown, you can almost forget racing.

That is when YOU pay some to drive THEIR car, untill you get some current wins.

How much money should I prepare if I try ARCA OR Busch?
I think Busch series is not just the money matter.
I already asked last time on other thread, but I'm still wondering.

and i did Formula race. but in here USA, NASCAR is absolutely popular.
that means it's easier to get sponsorship.
so I'm wonder how diffrent between Formula car and NASCAR. I know the each mechine's spec. but i wanna know the feeling. I should drive some stockcar as soon as possible. so these days I always watch on montoya's acheive. Thank you.

YOu can buy an ARCA Drive for $7,0000 to $10,000 per race. SO if you bring $150,000 to an ARCA team, that should get you a drive for the season.

Easy ? No. NASCAR teams work very hard at getting sponsorship.

Several ARCA and Busch Teams looking for FUNDED ( you pay or bring your sponsor ) to the team.

Getting into the Big Dance ( NASCAR ) without going though ARCA or Busch is not easy.

Good Luck

Thanks a lot.
But is it ture? 10,000 per race?
I think there's some gap between each teams.
then if i get sponsorship over 150,000 per year, can i get fastest car and top team staff?

I know getting sponsorship is very hard but compare to other race, it's easier
Because one of important factor is TV time, NASCAR and ARCA almost every weekend appear on TV. that means there are many chance to appeal to sponsor.

I should check the ARCA web again. see u again

Where do you want to run?? back 1/2 of the field or front 1/4 of the field?

There is your price difference.

TV exposure for sponsors is only one part of the sponsorship game. Does your personal image fit what the sponsors are looking for??

Best would be to get in the car FIRST. Win Races, THEN look for sponsors. If your looking for a SPONSOR first to get into a car, you may have a very very long wait.

Time to start talking to teams, GOING TO THE RACES and talking to team owners in person.

Good Luck.

Big ARCA race at Pocono PA next weekend. Time to pound some ground and talk to teams. Bring your resume and lots of pictures of your self on track and winning races.

Pocono is only a few hours east of NYC.
