Here's a link to the entry list:
http://www.endurorally.com/pages/fly...8-participants I'll be watching / photographing on the Saturday -probably as it passes through the North York Moors on the approach to Osmotherley (combine it with a hike on the Moors). |

Hopefully not AYL 3 as was stopped by the side of the road earlier - it was gone when I went back past half an hour later - hopefully fixed or recovered back up to Pace

Normally marshal on this but haven't seen anything about needing volunteers.....might go out for a gawp anyway

You will be pleased to know it’s not AYL which is now going very well and I understand stopped by the side of road needing final sorting.
Previous owner decided you could change gear at about 6500 revs and knackered engine so it’s rebuilt for Scotsman. The problem is magnified by people not understanding the gearboxes which should be treated like s switch and it tends to weld the bands together when they are slipped at 5000 plus revs for long periods.Pre selects were way ahead of their time but people do not listen how they should be used.Captains of Indudtry are not used to be told stuff! |

Let’s hope there’s a substitute around.
Need photo of Alta in action. Probably need to be taking one on first afternoon as didn’t move a wheel in anger until earlier this week First time it’s done anything of note in UK for 60 years! |

The Alta was going well today. It looked the quickest at Grafton Underwood.
