3, No overtaking as such so at least no pathetic penalties. As a person who lost interest in F1 10-15 years ago it seems that the dull race is after all the way to go, at least we know who won while the cars are still on the track rather than later on in the stewards room.

I am fascinated by your response! May I ask you a serious question? Did you watch the race, if you lost interest so long ago? Or if you did is it because of the possibility of British WDC? In my own example I no longer watch baseball's World Series, but if by some miracle my home club were in it, I would watch. I mean no offense by the question - I am just curious as a number of forum members seem to have lost interest but still follow to a degree. Cheers, JohnSSC |

I gave it 2, but having just watched a replay of the MotoGP race I was way too generous.

Dull, three over taking moves and one of them was Massa and Kimi.

The Grand Poor of the year?
Highlights: Button thanking Honda for an alledged new contract by qualifying back row...... Fisichella pretending to be Olivier Grouillard of 1990 Osella/Fondmetal no mirrors vintage..... Sebastien Bourdais deciding that he needs to get one over several drivers, quite literally by trying to drive over them...... Please can we have some drama Brazil!!! |

Dominant win by Hamilton the only real interest of the race. Massa's move on Raikonnen a lovely clean undramatic passing manouvre! Perhaps we need more of those to spice up the 'racing'! |

It wasn't as bad as Malaysia chuntz. Now that race was so hideous that even Massa performing an artistic pirhouette couldn't save it.

It was just a completely routine race, without any surprises: it may not have had much of anything to note that made it interesting, but it didn't have anything particularly against it.
5 for me. |

I find this thing of rating races difficult; I mean, the race didn't appear to contain huge amounts of action, but overtaking was not overly difficult at this track, but it just happened that there wasn't (or at least we didn't see) huge amounts of it, presumably because everyone was in their positions of pace quite early on.
Now this is normal and fine and better than artificially spiced-up racing. |

I went for 7.
3 For the race and 4 for the result and the laugh I got seeing Kimi virtually have to park and wait before giving his place to Massa |

Come on, guys. It could've been Hungary 2002, for instance.
Mind you, Ross did show us how to eat a banana that day. |

Looks like I win the RGT (Ralf's Girl Trophy) for highest rating given to a dull Grand Prix.

Watched start; wow! Unloaded van and car from trailer from previous day's activities at Silverstone. made cup o' tea an bacon sani during first round of stops. Put all equipment away, tidy and it's place, swept floor, had a shower just in time for the 'pass' by Massa on Kimi, Massa could not even be bothered to up the tension by doing it under braking for a 'turn'. Now comrades dont knock the fore goings on they were just as exciting and I gave it a well deserved 3 now now OTT I admit.

2/10. Utterly awful. I find it very strange how some people can mark this higher than a 5 - Do some of you guys like boring races/no overtaking?? Atleast the "circus" like races had some racing in it. I don't see why a race should gain marks for a clean finish without penalties. Surely that should be standard?
