Power Bulge should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Fun (Cup) at Anglesey, anyone?

Anyone up for a bit of Fun at Anglesey this weekend? I see from the sheets that there doesn't seem to be an over-abundance of orange, but I'm rather hoping I'm not going to be on my own!! Solo on Post 3 with reports, radio, flags, fire bottle and a pull off 200 yards away has its disadvantages.

Has the lure of Oulton Park put everyone off going?

I suspect it's the fact that there is just the one race that's done it!

And Post 8 ...

Looks like my first bike meeting will have to wait - way too much to get done in the house.

The number of races and their length doesn't put me off - the Birkett last year was a real blast and this event can be considered as "training" for the Britcar!

Hopefully the sight of Hannah and her stern looks at Rocket In will calm the drivers down, make them well behaved and give everyone else a nice quiet day...

Didn't work out like that at Old Hall last weekend but you never know.

I'll be there (with Hannah) from tonight so save me a space in Hotel Med.

Hannah's very proud by the way, she now has her own record card, complete with comments from the revered Mr Brand...

I think at Old Hall on Saturday most of the Caterham drivers were trying to get a closer look at Hannah on the outside of the bend ... must be the only reason so many of them ended up on the inside after a few spins.

Hopefully the run up the hill to Rocket they'll get a better view and all behave, hopefully

I did this one last year on Rocket in, had the only real incident of the then 6hr race, the car lost its braking capability at the wrong time and went in hard, driver was fine and the BARC Rescue unit were great in their assistance in cleaning up the mess.
As Mike said it was a great event last year, I would have been there only for a small event at Silverstone has my undivided attention this year.
Have fun guys n gals and stay safe!

Those of you going up in the morning you might come up against traffic at St Asaph, roadworks again, give yourself some extra travel time.

St Asaph roadworks aren't too bad at the moment, just watch out for a side facing speedcamera before you join the contraflow, it nearly caught me out a few days ago

What a great day. The weather stayed dry, the sun came out, the lead of the race changed loads of times, we only had a couple of safety car periods (for recovering cars), a nice financial gesture from BRSCC (which covered the fuel costs) and a couple of hours in funcup hospitality with beer on tap at the end of the day.

Cracking weekend. 2 good, entertaining races with a see-saw battle for the lead all the way through the main race. Holding the SC board, waving a yellow and trying to call in 2 cars for overtaking was a bit tricky - any 3rd arms on sale through Regalia?

Driving to the circuit Saturday morning in the torrential rain thought this was going to be a bad day. As it turned out it was an absolute cracking day, with some good racing throughout the field, for a five hour race. Great example of how good some endurance racing can be - series such as S***D take note. Really glad I went to Anglesey rather than OP this weekend. Looking forward to the 4 hr sprint race next month.

And to all you guys in orange who turned up to keep and eye on us on Saturday... A massive THANK YOU from all of us on the Funcup series...
This was, without doubt, one of the best races ive been to in ages...and the sprint race was just fantastic and close (but i would say that, we won it!!) there were plenty of lead changes in both Classes.
Again, Thanks to those who turned up and looked out for us and made it such a great days racing!

That must have been during the test day on Friday. Wasn't much fun marshalling during the rain either. At least you had a dry race day.
