I closed the other thread because it was a duplicate of a thread in another forum and really had little to do with marshalling. This thread is different hence it's still running..........for now

No offence meant Mark.

Mark, I think there was talk of finding another club to take the date on - so don't commit to gardening or shopping just yet!

Not sure if this has been picked up, but the Morgan Sports Car Club meeting initially scheduled for July 18 at Mallory Park is now running on August 8.

Errr...that means that the "new" Mallory meeting will loose the Mighty, Super Mighty & Xtreme Mighty's as they are all racing at the Mini Fest' at Silverstone that day...I know where I'll be!...and that won't leave much else to race at Mallory either!!

Am I missing something here? I thought the NW Dinner was monkey or lounge suit. I didn't think jaffa suits would be allowed

Jaffa suits eh Diz, just what colours would you call some of your NWFF1600 lads' suits then? The white ones are usually stained anyway after an outing in your series!

They are probably scared about what the jaffas will do next when they shouldn't, or not do when they should.
All other marshals reading this, please don't jump on your soapboxes. I'm sure your learned author colleague is just having a little josh at me, as my reply is intended to convey I expect a reply from Dave Brand anyway and probably KayBee and observer, but I'll ignore them.
BTW Derek, thanks again for the lift last Saturday. I hope your springs stood up to all that - raffle prizes - extra weight in the boot.

I'm not even going to mention how many raffle prizes you won.......

.......but you did redeem yourself by drawing one of my tickets for that last one!
