Cadwell Park 7th August MSV FF1600
With the news that MSV have cancelled the single seater test session scheduled for Friday 5th August, I have arranged with BRSCC HQ for the addition of a 20 minute untimed practice session on Sunday morning. All FF1600 competitors are eligible to enter this 'test' session for a fee of £50.
The timetable for the day is now as follows; 09.00 - Untimed practice - 20 minutes 11.10 - Qualifying - 15 minutes 14.00 - Race 1 - 15 minutes 17.05 - Race 2 - 15 minutes Booking forms for the untimed session and entry forms for the races are available from steve@brscc.co.uk The race entry is £175 for the qualifying and both races, with the untimed session for an additional £50, so that's £225 for 65 minutes of track time at the 'mini Nurburgring'. |

This could also be a timely point for a reminder that there is prize money for the top 8 finishers in each race and 2 free tyres for the Best Presented Car.

By the way. I don't suppose ALL drivers going to Cadwell visit this site, so it is only fair that they become aware of the untimed session. Will they be contacted? Will the news be put onto BRSCC site? As good as this web site is, it can't be assumed ALL FF drivers visit this site.

I stayed at a nice B&B about 6 or 7 miles away Chris - I will email the details.
The story will go on the FF1600 site very soon and I think Steve sent an email to registered FF1600 competitors. |

I did indeed send an e-mail.
Beumont Hotel in Louth is very nice, run by an Italian couple. If that's full then the Admiral Rodney Hotel at Horncastle, which is usual Best Western standard. Both are popular with people frequenting Cadwell Park. |

Being a local there are plenty of great places to drink in louth, you want to end up at Samuels.
Good thing about louth it's only about £12 for a taxi to the circuit. |

Bad News for Redracer77
Steve Burns will not be there. On the other hand, he has an able replacement who is not many inches away from this keyboard as I type.
